It comes in solid colors and patterned colors much the same as turquoise would. Our material is completely natural and untreated.
- Variscite belongs to the phosphate group and is not found in abundance. It gets its brightness due to the presence of small amounts of chromium. It comes in several shades of green to light blue. Colors chosen for this show are in the medium green tones. However we have some very cool colors I smaller groups that are to die for.
- Variscite is named for Variscia, the medieval name of Vogtland, Germany and was first identified in 1893.
- Folklore says that Variscite helps with remembrance of past lives and is a good meditation stone. It also helps with virtue, self-reliance, moral courage and success.
