• This is a new discovery. It is a spectacular new find and has a broad spectrum of colors in the colors of the tropical ocean. The colors chosen for this show have many shades of blues and greens. As with all the gemstones used for this show it is a natural non-treated agate, so each stone is an individual as a fingerprint.
• It is a combination of several minerals forming inside quartz. Chrysocolla and Azurite give Terra Verde ™ the beautiful azure blue, turquoise and green colors that has formed inside the quartz.
• Hardness is 7 on the Moh’s scale.
• Terra Verde ™ is found in northeast Nevada about 75 miles north of Wells Nevada. It is a remote area of this massive desert area. On a good day it is accessible by four-wheel drive. Chrysocolla is found in Nevada as well and usually found wherever copper deposits are found.
• Quartz was in common use among the North American Native Indian Tribes centuries before the white men came among them. Arrowheads, knives and ornaments of quartz have been found during excavations around the western United States.
• Chrysocolla is said to represent creativity, female energy and communication. Azurite-Malachite is said to create calm and peace.
